Steam Engine Train Rides and Horseback Riding
The Beavers Bend Depot operates an authentic 1/3 size replica of the C.P. Huntington S. P. steam engine train from 1863. Bring your camera as you will most likely encounter deer, turkey and other wildlife on the 15-20 minute ride through the Beaver’s Bend Resort Park Game Preserve. Children and adults alike will enjoy the train ride through Beavers Bend.
Every Saturday in October is the "Train of Terror." Ride it if you dare. Boo!
Horseback Riding & Equestrian Trails
The Depot also has tame horseback riding. The ride is 2.5 miles through the Game Preserve and takes about an hour. Reservations recommended on busy weekends.
Hay rides are available for family reunions, organizations, birthday parties, team building or corporate event planning. Every Saturday in October is a "scary" ride through the dark woods. Boo.
